Sandy aims to capture light-heartedness in this work, a moment of peace for the viewer. Through the tableaux remaking of these random items, Sandy invites the viewer to take a deep breath and to engage in meditation as the world passes by. There is nothing greater than being your authentic self, and Sandy leaves a piece of herself through vibrant colors and flowers to inspire humans to accept themselves for who they truly are. The distortion and gushing oil paint leaves the viewer feeling whole and nourished in a world full of darkness and hearless defeat. Sandy strikes her brush to create a connection between the painting and human longing and love.
