Lemonade

“I am an established artist with many commissions, solo shows, and honors. My paintings are improvisations of realistic images fused onto fanciful themes, with a hidden story underneath each piece. My work is whimsical, colorful, and full of detail. A signature aspect of my artwork is the unique method of building my paintings into 3-dimensional compositions using paint, hand-carved layered foamcore board, fabric, and other collage elements to add dimension, texture and depth. Collage adds vitality and excitement resulting in tactile, bold work that engages process, form, and narrative equally. I create an integrated setting in each piece, spotlighting the scene while adding flavor to the total story and design. I create exciting, sculptural nature-based artworks with layers of texture and portraits that are alive with personality. Some of my artworks are hyper-realistic food sculptures and paintings with exciting 3-dimensional effects that look delicious enough to eat.”
