Based in São Paulo, Brazil, Mädchen Vivi is a visual artist with a degree in Social Communication. Her professional trajectory includes working as a photography assistant and managing photographic archives for women artists such as Vânia Toledo and Lita Cerqueira. In 2017, she held her first photography exhibition combined with illustration at Associação Cultural Cecília. That same year, she participated in both group and solo exhibitions at venues including Trackers, Estúdio Lâmina, and Virada Cultural. In 2020, she was awarded at the 15th CC Festival in Nazaré, Portugal, for the photograph When I Had No Strength to React. In the following years, 2022 and 2023, two of her works were selected for the experimental and traveling exhibition Share, Tag or Dye, which toured European countries such as Romania and Spain. Her practice also stands out in digital contexts. Vivi was selected for Festival do Minuto with the series Azul and Não lhe prometi, and her authorial works "Azul" and "Toyoko Hotel" were featured on Booooooom, a global reference platform in contemporary visual arts. She also shares her projects on independent platforms that promote women artists, such as Peach Mag and RageZine, both based in New York. Exploring virtual spaces, she participated in the immersive gallery Xepa World, dedicated to crypto art.Her visual research articulates what she defines as survival feminism, often symbolized by three recurring elements in her imagery: a flower, a lipstick, and a pair of panties. In 2026, Vivi continues to develop the series: Um corpo temporário modificável; O sagrado romântico profano and New Feminine Eroticism, deepening her investigation into the body, technology, feminine eroticism, autonomy, and survival. In parallel, she works as a fashion photographer.
