The Gods of Ophiuchus

“My artistic practice was born from a state of solitude and obsessive observation of the patterns that build our microcosmos. Using fountain pen ink on archival paper, I recreate patterns found in our natural world, such as leaf venation, trabecular bone, and skin texture. Observing this phenomenon, I realized that these are the fundamental structures that make us run, breathe, and dream. As a neurodivergent artist, I channel my ability to hyperfocus on projects that demand hundreds of hours to complete, resulting in works that combine abstract surrealism, biological microstructures, music, and free-verse poetry to create an immersive experience. I choose to work with archival paper and calligraphy tools such as oblique and dip pens because those mediums are, by nature, deeply connected to my vision of blending precision with authentic craftsmanship. Being self-taught across multiple disciplines has taught me to be in a meditative state, where silence and solitude are essential parts of my artistic process. Through my lens, silence is the foundation for observation, and Solitude is what enables my mind to flourish.”
