Seasons of Life

by Jacqui Hart

For Jacqui, art is both a calling and a sanctuary - a way to connect with the beauty and wonder woven into the fabric of creation, and a place to find solace & purpose. Her journey as a self-taught artist has been shaped by a fascination for the Old Masters, the Pre-Raphaelites, and the teachings of American artist Mark Carder, whose approach to Classical Realism continues to challenge and inspire her. Jacqui specialises in large oil paintings on Belgian linen. Her subjects have ranged from vibrant native birds, to portraiture & currently she is crafting lush floral roses. The interplay between light & shadow, texture & form allows her to create bespoke pieces that are thoughtful, elegant and charming. Jacqui’s pieces offer her viewers a moment of stillness and wonder, encouraging them to notice the beauty woven into everyday life. Through each brushstroke and painted detail, she aims to celebrate creation and steward her God-given gifts with joy and gratefulness.
