I Can't Escape This Body Even When I Destroy It

by Kerrigan Reyes

Kerrigan Reyes entertains the idea of mental health through symbolism. The home is supposed to be a loving, safe place but in this photo the house is dark, chipped, and run down. Reyes creates a tone of hollowness and an ache to be somewhere warm. The viewer is the one witnessing the depths of the soul of the person hurting.
