A Walk In Nature

"Working with a combination of acrylic and ink allows me to explore the contrast between broad atmosphere and fine-point detail. Each piece begins with an acrylic base to establish the mood and light of the sky and earth. I then use white ink to draw directly onto the painted surface, a technique that grants me the precision necessary to capture the complex architecture of trees. As a lifelong lover of poetry, and quotations I incorporate verses into the composition, allowing the text to merge with the visual elements. The result is a series of landscapes where literature and fine art provide a singular, immersive experience."
