Whispers; Rainy Day Puddles

“I’m a multi-media artist with a deep love for creative exploration. My work spans a wide range of materials and formats, shaped by a background in two-dimensional art, illustration, cartooning, and fiber arts. Over the years, my journey has included resort illustration, publishing a comic strip and tourist guides in Key West, and teaching museum classes, and exhibiting work across the eastern U.S. Nature is my inspiration. For forty years in Key West it was the water, horizon and incredible cloud formations. Now, in central Florida, it is forests, rivers and wildlife. I discovered Flora Yukhnovich and her work encouraged my personal quest to reduce detail and elevate suggestion in my images. Locally, a class in Creativity with Carolyn Land opened new doors to abstract visuals. Through it all, I’m guided by curiosity, intuition, and a deep connection to the natural world.”
