Impatient Egoism

Gonzalo Malagón is an artist who works primarily through photography. His interest in photography sparked from his father, Gonzalo Sr., who practiced it as a hobby. Gonzalo took it up as well, wanting to impress him. He would then fall in love with it as he learned more about the craft and what could be done with it. He recently received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from Valdosta State University. Growing up in the United States, Gonzalo has experienced firsthand the negative effects capitalism has had on America and highlights them through his art. Gonzalo is Mexican-American and being a Latino also comes with its own experiences and he likes to share his own, whether they be pleasant or bitter.
