The Wallflower

"In my paintings the most ordinary moments of my most ordinary life become infused with undercurrents of poetry, romance and surrealism. I feel like this “magical” world coexists with the concrete one and access to it is a matter of simply changing perspective. My painting has taught me this different way of “seeing “and I hope it will also suggest to the viewer the wonder of this vision as it applies to their own life and experience. There is a technical craft to painting that has taken me years to acquire; I feel like I’m never done learning and perfecting it. I happily embrace this life long process."
