Cristalli di Memoria
by Camellia Rostom
"This work explores the fragile boundary between identity and dissolution. Through layered transparencies and floating spherical forms, the painting evokes a suspended state where the body and psyche fragment, refract, and reassemble. The bubbles act as visual metaphors for memory, perception, and destiny—delicate containers that both protect and distort what they hold. A partially emerging human presence suggests the tension between visibility and disappearance, agency and surrender. Color and light create a fluid atmosphere, inviting the viewer into an inner space where emotion drifts freely and meaning remains unstable. The work does not offer resolution, but embraces uncertainty as a vital condition of existence."
