“When I look at the world around me, I see shapes emerging from textures, colors, and the play of light and shadow. I begin by photographing figurative subjects, which serve as the foundation for creating a dynamic composition. The goal is to form something cohesive and intentional, focusing more on the arrangement of shapes than on color at first. As I work, the shapes gradually take shape and suggest subtle color choices. Once I’m satisfied with the overall composition, I begin envisioning colors that will enhance the forms. The first color introduced often leads to the discovery of others, with each one influencing the rest in a delicate balance. My focus is on exploring composition, color combinations, and abstract flat backgrounds, while continually refining my painting techniques. For me, each painting is an intentional experiment, a journey that builds the groundwork for future experiments.”
