Lost in the Stars

by Morrie Warshawski

“I started making art as a teenager then abandoned it for 50 years before taking art classes again in my 70s at Napa Valley College. My work as a poet and visual artist is imbued with the qualities of: Surprise, Joy, Serendipity, and Thoughtfulness. Many of my works are mixed media employing graphite, watercolor, gouache, acrylic, colored pencil, collage. My work invites viewers to care more about ‘the categories of recognition than the categories of knowing’ (Wm. Kentridge).”
