Future! What future?

This photo is part of the project titled “Future! What Future?” and shows the world from the perspective of an 11-year-old boy in his neighborhood. His dreams, hopes, and curious glances toward the future are at the center of the work. The project raises the question of what kind of future we, as today’s generation, are leaving to children and young people. How long will their innocence last before they are forced to confront the realities of this world? The photographs are intended to prompt reflection: What are we truly doing to make the future of young people safer, more peaceful, and more livable?
