“My art is a reflection of my emotional states and experiences of love, loss, time, and feminine strength. Almost all of my female figures are self-portraits — they embody my inner monologues through color, texture, and form. Working with textile (cold batik), ceramics, and graphic media, I combine northern austerity with eastern sensuality, balancing control and spontaneity, tension and warmth.”
