“I am in my element when I have paper and pencil, and can doodle simples shapes. I enjoy seeing how small changes in lines, shapes, and color can alter the evolution of a design, taking a "doodle" and turning it into a geometric pattern. My art has evolved to include collages where I cut up prints of my geometric drawings and paste them to create a whole new piece of art. I love the texture collage brings to the art piece as well as seeing how my abstract patterns can be used to create a more representational subject.”
