Something New Under the Sun

Art has always been a major part of Andie Olson’s life. Coming from a long line of visual artists and creatives, she was lucky enough to be encouraged to make a life as an artist. Originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, she received her BFA in Painting from Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, PA. In the years following college, she resided in Phoenix, AZ. While living there, she was an integral part of the arts community. Her work was featured in many exhibitions and art fairs. As the Program Manager at an art center in Phoenix, she managed educational and curatorial programming. She has recently returned to Bucks County and has been featured in exhibitions all over the Philadelphia and Delaware River Valley area. Most notable are a three-person exhibition at Cerulean Arts entitled, “A World of One’s Own” and a two-person exhibition at DC Gallery and Studio entitled, “Concurrent Cycles”. Recent group exhibitions include the 11th Annual Juried Exhibition at the Artists of Yardley Art Center, which was juried by Jessica Todd Smith, Director of Curatorial Initiatives & the Susan Grey Detweiler Curator of American Art at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. As well as Cerulean Arts’ 11th Annual Juried Exhibition, which was juried by Bill Perthes, The Bernard C. Watson Director of Adult Education the Barnes Foundation.
