“I view my approach to art like a famous Bruce Lee quote about being like water. My art style varies and adapts depending on the message I am trying to convey. This helps me exhibit a multifaceted approach to being creative. My preferred medium is drawing with colored pencils, pens, or markers. This allows me to control how much or how little color i add to each piece. However, i paint loosely to display a playful childlike nature or detailed enough to command attention. I view creating as an essential progress to understanding myself and my surrounding world better. It helps me explore both the dark corners of my soul and look at the lighthearted moments that come often. Each piece has various hidden meanings that request for the viewer's engagement. I am constantly searching to create artwork that can give depth to what could be viewed as simply 2D art. This also plays into my choice of color hues/tints that represent tone the best.”
