“Ever since I was little, I never understood why art had to stay in separate boxes. I get excited seeing how two colors mix into something completely new. Ballet lessons from my childhood still help me draw people in motion more naturally. Even familiar songs I have heard countless times feel new when I see them performed on stage, as watching them live evokes all my senses. These different art forms enrich the emotions and experiences, showing me that creativity is strongest when forms of expression inspire one another. I want to create art that encourages people to see things and relate in a new way. I’ve started adding movement and sound to my paintings, but I know there is more to learn. Each new project shows me how different combinations of materials can communicate emotions that are difficult to explain with words.”
