“The end result of my painting is the collaboration between desire, chance and skill. Always keeping a look out for the work to speak and drive the brush for a while. I sometimes work on a 3D object, taking a simple form and build some visual curiosity. Many paintings call upon memories of time spent observing frescos in Italy and the peeling grime of painted plaster. Overall it is he gravitational challenge of creating something new that is such a pleasure.”
