Nymera is a Tejano artist of the Representational style, and self-proclaimed 'Artist Explorer' specialized in oil and watercolor painting. With 10+ years of experience in traditional and digital mediums and having earned a BFA as a first-gen student at Academy of Art University, their background demonstrates committed and diverse studies in the arts and art histories. They've served their local arts communities by volunteering at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden and working as an Art Teacher for the NPO Creative Action for over 2 years, where they taught students social justice topics through art, demonstrating their manifold creative experiences that continue to evolve. Intermingling their passions for exploring and creating, Nymera's art serves as a visual provenance of their travels and a platform to raise awareness for nature conservation and cultural preservation. Ultimately they create these "windows to the world" in hopes of transforming ignorance into compassion and positive action.
