Lisa Wißgott
Lisa Wißgott grew up surrounded by creativity. Her father, who taught her how to draw and introduced her to different painting styles, and her grandfather, an art teacher, inspired her early passion for art. Weekend sessions practicing together shaped her love for painting and drawing, and school quickly confirmed what she already knew—art would be her favorite subject. Carrying forward her father’s passion has remained central to her journey.
Though she never pursued formal art school, Wißgott refined her skills through consistent practice and experimentation. Over the years, she discovered her affinity for acrylic painting, though she still enjoys drawing, graffiti lettering, and hosting creative sessions with friends. Her main practice today combines canvas, acrylic paint, glitter elements, rhinestones, textured pastes, and liquid colors, allowing her to work intuitively and expressively.
Recurring motifs in her work include faceless figures, abstract patterns, and glittering positivity. She deliberately removes facial features—often used to define identity and beauty—to invite reflection on who we are without masks, expectations, or external labels. By pairing these figures with bright, radiant colors and shimmering textures, she creates abstract environments that embody freedom, optimism, and the beauty of life.
For Wißgott, art is both meditation and celebration. Music often guides her creative process, helping her shut down thought and flow into painting. Her goal is to offer viewers an uplifting perspective—a reminder of inner light, vulnerability, gratitude, and self-love.
Currently preparing for her first solo exhibition in September, Wißgott envisions a future of continuous growth: building a strong creative network, selling her works regularly, hosting exhibitions, and eventually opening her own gallery.
Her motto to emerging artists: “Just do it. Don’t overthink or compare yourself to others. If you follow your drive, your work will reach the right people.”
