Danting Li
Danting Li is a multidisciplinary designer, artist, curator, and creative director whose work spans branding, UI and UX design, typography, motion graphics, digital art, and visual campaigns. Across commercial and independent projects, Li treats design as a form of communication that must do more than look polished. It should clarify an idea, address a need, and create a meaningful encounter for its audience.
Li holds a Master of Arts in Interaction and UI/UX Design and has more than a decade of experience across multiple design fields. Earlier in their career, they worked at ZAM Network, producing branded campaigns and digital content for gaming companies including PUBG Mobile, Tencent, LPL, and Alchemy Stars. The experience developed an ability to combine visual storytelling with strategic communication across fast-moving digital platforms.
Li is now Senior Graphic Designer and Co-Founder of SparksGlo, where they lead projects from concept through completion. The role includes branding, websites, marketing campaigns, and other digital experiences. Their work has received recognition through projects including Venus Jewelry E-commerce Website Design, SparksGlo Real Estate Agent WordPress Website Template, SparksGlo Horse Sugar Script Blind Box, SparksGlo Artack Regular Type Design, and Conditional Privacy.
Alongside commercial design, Li maintains an independent artistic practice. Works such as Familiar Yet Far, Neon Dreamscape, Lit by Love, Behind Love, Colorful Symphony, Her Pain, The Bleeding Hearts, Unfading Happiness, Embrace the Infinite, and A Road to Nowhere address identity, technology, emotional experience, and environmental awareness. Li also curates the YOSN Art Series, an international e-magazine that presents emerging and established artists.
A consistent principle across these roles is that visual beauty needs conceptual support. Conditional Privacy is representative of this approach. The digital campaign considers the tension between convenience and personal data exposure in the age of AI, using visual storytelling to encourage critical reflection on an issue that is often treated as purely technical.
Environmental concerns are another recurring interest. In Coral Bleaching, Li uses a minimalist visual language and fading color palettes to address the gradual disappearance of marine ecosystems. The project approaches ecological change through atmosphere and design rather than through dense explanation, aiming to make environmental loss emotionally legible.
Li’s commercial experience has also shaped their artistic decisions. Venus Jewelry E-commerce Website Design, for example, required the integration of aesthetics, user experience, branding, and narrative. These principles continue to guide their art practice, where visual appeal is paired with an interest in clear concepts and layered meaning.
The SparksGlo Real Estate Agent WordPress Website Template demonstrates the more practical side of this design philosophy. Li identified a gap in the market for real-estate sites tailored to individual agents rather than large firms. The resulting system was designed to accommodate property listings, sold properties, blogs, videos, news updates, and client services while supporting personal branding. Building versions in English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish required attention to language, reading patterns, and the different expectations of users across markets.
Cultural continuity is especially visible in the SparksGlo Horse Sugar Script Blind Box. Drawing on Chinese sugar painting and historical forms of the Chinese character for “horse,” the project uses typography and packaging to reinterpret cultural material for contemporary audiences. Li’s interest is not in nostalgia alone, but in making tradition accessible through new visual forms.
Typography remains one of Li’s most important artistic tools. In SparksGlo Artack Regular Type Design, they explored letterform, structure, and visual rhythm, treating type as both a communication system and a medium capable of carrying personality, emotion, and cultural identity.
Li’s work as a judge for international design and business awards has further expanded this perspective. Reviewing projects by designers, students, and creative professionals from different cultural contexts has reinforced the importance of innovation, problem-solving, and impact. Awards matter to Li as recognition of research and effort, but they remain milestones rather than final goals.
Whether working on a website, a visual campaign, a typeface, or a personal artwork, Li’s objective remains consistent: to create visual experiences that are accessible, conceptually clear, and capable of prompting reflection.
